By Spieker Promotions GRAND FORKS, N.D. (September 1, 2021) – A three-race swing through South Dakota with the NOSA Sprints turned into a single show weekend as rain washed two of the events last weekend. Following rainouts Friday at Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen and Saturday at Casino Speedway in Watertown, the Buffalo Wild Wings No. 13 team made the trip to Huset’s Speedway on Sunday. After timing in 11th quick out of the twenty-four 410 Sprint Cars in attendance, Dobmeier was a part of a NOSA-regulars sweep of heat race action as he picked up the win in heat two. The six-time Huset’s Speedway track champion redrew the six pill putting him on the outside of row three for the main event. “We’ve had some great speed at Huset’s this year and had good speed on Sunday night. I got up to third and (Justin) Henderson was ahead of me in second. We battled back and forth with him and were able to get by him,” said Dobmeier of his run to the front during the feature. “It was an exciting race. The rubber started coming down, but yet we still had lapped cars in the mix. Once the rubber really came down, (Jack) Dover was fortunate enough to be in front of everybody and I didn’t really have a way around him after that. I just had to stay on him and hope for a mistake but he ran a good race.” Dobmeier crossed the line in second. Next up, the Lunstra Motorsports / DEKALB team will return to River Cities Speedway on Friday night with the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints. “We’ve been changing things up quite a bit this year setup-wise at Grand Forks,” said Dobmeier. “We’ve been trying different things to get a little faster and we’ve definitely been on to some stuff. I’m looking forward to getting back to River Cities and trying to make a good run at another feature win.” Dobmeier Racing thanks all of its sponsors for their continued support!
