By Spieker Promotions GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 26, 2019) – After a rare off-weekend, Mark Dobmeier and the Buffalo Wild Wings No. 13 team are heading west to Mandan, N.D. for the Governor’s Cup at Dacotah Speedway. This marks the second consecutive year the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints have been a part of one of the most historic events in North Dakota dirt track racing. Last year, Dobmeier visited victory lane on the first night of action at the high-banked three-eighths mile oval. The win was Dobmeier’s first of his career at the speedway.
Coming into this weekend’s action, Dobmeier has competed in six NOSA events at three different tracks and has recorded six top-five finishes and three wins. The Grand Forks driver was last in action on July 14th at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, N.D. for the Red River Valley Fair special. Dobmeier took the lead early on in the 25-lap feature, before fading back to fourth at the midway point. Dobmeier took advantage of a late-race restart to move back into contention for the win. With two laps to go, Dobmeier passed Nick Omdahl for the lead and went on to claim his first career win at Red River Valley. 2019 Mark Dobmeier Racing apparel is now available on our all-new online store!
