GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 8, 2022) – The Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints hit the road this weekend with a pair of shows in South Dakota as well as a home game at River Cities Speedway which kicks off the three-race weekend tonight. Mark Dobmeier leads the NOSA point standings over defending series champion Brendan Mullen entering tonight’s event. The series will travel to Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, S.D. on Saturday and Casino Speedway in Watertown, S.D. on Sunday. Dobmeier won both inaugural NOSA events at those two tracks back in 2018. The driver of the Buffalo Wild Wings / Lunstra Motorsports No. 13 is fresh off his first feature win of the 2022 season last Friday night. Dobmeier won the Wayne Anderson Cup make-up feature to pocket $1,750. Early race leader Wade Nygaard set a fast pace, but Dobmeier moved his way into second from his second row starting position and took the point from the 10-time NOSA champ just past the halfway point. From there, Dobmeier never looked back as he collected his 170th career NOSA win. “Wayne (Anderson) was a huge part of this sport and a great supporter of sprint car racing,” said Dobmeier in victory lane after the race. “I’m really glad we have this race to honor him and glad we could park it in victory lane.” The Dobmeier capped off the evening in the regularly scheduled feature with a podium finish.
