By Spieker Promotions GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 30, 2021) – Fresh off a strong second-place run at Huset's Speedway on Sunday, Mark Dobmeier and the Buffalo Wild Wings No. 13 Team are geared up for a big three-race weekend. Team 13 will head west to run the Governor’s Cup with the NOSA Sprints at Dacotah Speedway in Mandan, ND on Friday and Saturday night. The crew will then head back to Huset’s for the $10,000 to win Bull Haulers Brawl on Sunday night. Last weekend, Dobmeier kicked off racing action on Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks with a second place run in his heat race after starting eighth. Dobmeier earned the most passing points of any driver with that performance, and was handed the eighth starting spot for the 25 lap main event. Charging from another eighth place starting spot, Dobmeier was running third at the midway point when the rear-end of the No. 13 car failed, ending his hopes for a third win at River Cities in four starts. The team made repairs and headed back to Huset’s Speedway on Sunday night, where Dobmeier started his night with the 11th best qualifying lap, and a second place run in his heat race. Dobmeier started third in the 25 lap main event, and remained third past the midway point. Dobmeier took the lead with seven laps remaining, as the six-time track champion looked for his first win at the track since 2017. A late slidejob from Austin McCarl dashed those hopes with two laps left, as Dobmeier continued on to finish second. Dobmeier Racing thanks all of its sponsors for their continued support!
