By Spieker Promotions GRAND FORKS, N.D. (September 20, 2019) – After a rare off-week due to last Friday’s rainout at River Cities Speedway, Mark Dobmeier and the Buffalo Wild Wings No. 13 team set out to Jackson, Minn. for event No. 34 and 35 on their 2019 campaign. The first of two nights of action for the Bumper-to-Bumper IRA Sprints at Jackson Motorplex kicks off tonight. Dobmeier has three starts at the fast four-tenths mile oval in 2019, all of which came during the World of Outlaws Jackson Nationals at the end of June. His best run was a 19th-place effort on the first night of competition.
Dobmeier is the most recent 410 Sprint Car track champion at the speedway. He claimed that title in 2017. Dobmeier has one start with the IRA Sprints this season, which came on September 7th at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis. A fifth-place run in his heat mired the driver of the Lunstra Motorsports / Dahlstrom Motors machine back in the 13th starting position for the main event. But in true Dobmeier fashion, he got up on the wheel and charged his way to the front. At the checkers, Dobmeier claimed the fourth position, earning the hard charger award. This weekend’s races at Jackson Motorplex can be viewed live on SpeedShift.TV. Mark and the entire Team 13 Racing crew would like to thank all their sponsors for their support!
