Dobmeier is Highest Finishing Local at River Cities Outlaw Show

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 3, 2025) - Mark Dobmeier continued his 2025 campaign last weekend with a pair of appearances with ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt,” the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series last Friday night at River Cities Speedway and Red River Valley Speedway.

A poor pill draw made for a long night Friday night at River Cities which saw Dobmeier go last in the 33 car running order. Unable to secure a transfer spot in the heat race, Dobmeier went on to win the B Main to start 21st in the 40-lap main event.

Dobmeier made his way through the field and was 13th at the fuel stop with nine laps to go but ended up with a 15th place finish as the highest finishing local driver.

Dobmeier made the trip to West Fargo the following night where he made the main event right out of the heat race but ended with a 19th place finish in the 30-lap feature.

Dobmeier returned to Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, SD on Sunday night where the start to their regular season has netted finishes of ninth, third, and fourth in the previous three nights run at the South Dakota bullring

However, Dobmeier fell one spot short of a B Main transfer spot but was able to use a provisional to start 25th in the main event. Dobmeier’s night was far from over though as he went through a tear through the field, finishing +12 in the 13th position.

Dobmeier will continue his Northern Outlaw Sprint Association season Friday night at River Cities and will return to Huset’s Speedway on Sunday night for week five of action there.
