Mark qualified 3rd out of 14 cars Sunday night at Huset's Speedway.  He then went on to win his heat and then get the feature win.  Next race Friday August 29th at River Cities Speedway.

Mark qualified 13th out of 27 cars on Saturday night at Knoxville Raceway.  He then went on to win his heat so he started 3rd in the feature.  With 12 laps down he had the lead and he held on to win the race holding off a late race challenge by Danny Lasoski.  Next race Sunday August 24th at Huset's.

Mark won the heat Friday night at River Cities Speedway.  The feature was called due to inclement weather.  Next race Saturday August 23rd at Knoxville Raceway.

Mark qualified 3rd out of 17 cars Sunday night at Huset's Speedway.  He then went on to finish 4th in his heat and second in the feature.  Next race Friday August 22nd at River Cities Speedway.

Mark finished second in his heat and finished 14th in the feature.  Mark was rolling richt along in the feature, he had all but 2 cars lapped and then the caution came out to bunch the field back up.  He got off to a great restart but then his fuel line busted with 3 laps to go and he ended up 14th.  Next race Sunday night at Huset's Speedway.

Mark timed 19th out of 24 cars on Tuesday night at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo.  He then went on to finish 6th in his heat and 11th in the feature.  Next race Friday August 15th at River Cities Speedway.

Mark qualified 9th out of 18 cars Sunday night at Huset's Speedway.  He then went on to win his heat and win the feature.  For Mark that was his sixth feature win at Huset's Speedway.

Mark won his heat and finished 3rd in the A-main at Knoxville Raceway Friday night.  He then competed in the World Challenge in which he finished 2nd.  Next race Saturday August 9th at Knoxville Raceway.

Mark had Thursday night off from the Nationals.  They had round 2 of qualifying, but since Mark did all that on Wednesday he was able to watch the action.  Next race Friday August 8th at Knoxville for day 3 of the Nationals.

Mark qualified 32nd out of 54 cars on Wednesday at Knoxville Raceway for the opening night of the Knoxville Nationals.  He then went on to finish 6th in his heat and 7th in the B-Main event.  Next race Thursday August 7th at Knoxville Raceway for day 2 of the Knoxville Nationals.

Mark qualified 5th out of 30 cars.  Started 5th, finished 4th in the heat race.  Won the King of the hill match race series, defeating Greg Wilson, Daryn Pittman and Joey Saldana.  Mark started on the pole and dominated the first 15 laps of the race until two lapped cars flipped right in front of him, leaving no place to go.  Daryn Pittman went on to win, followed by Tyler Walker, Tim Kaeding, and Roger Crockett.

Mark qualified 6th out of 31 cars Sunday night at Huset's Speedway.  In his heat he finished 6th and won the B-main to qualify for the A-main in which he ended up 5th.  Next race Monday August 4th at Oskaloosa, IA.

Mark qualified 2nd out of 30 cars tonight at Knoxville.  He then went on to finish 4th in his heat to earn a 9th place start in the feature.  But tonight was not Mark's night as he had problems and finished 23rd.  Next race Sunday July 27th at Huset's Speedway, where Mark will hopefully rebound.

Mark took last in his heat race at River Cities Speedway on Friday night.  He got up to high coming out of turn 4 and hit the wall.  He got his car fixed and started 23rd in the feature and won going away.  Next Race Saturday night July 12th at Knoxville.

Last night was the NAPA Mid Canada Sprint Car Challenge at Winnipeg.

Ethan and I both had to work, so the three Musketeers (Mark, Perry, and Wyatt) made the trip to Winnipeg and claimed the heat, the feature, the $500.00 bounty on Lou Kennedy Jr's head and the big Napa tool box.

Mark Qualified 12th out of 39 cars Friday Night at River Cities Speedway.  Mark then went on to finish second in his heat and sixth in the dash.  In the feature he got off to a great start but it didn't last as the throttle link line broke so he was only going half throttle from 5 laps in, but he did well and finished seventh in the feature.  Next race June 28th at Knoxville Raceway.

Mark timed 7th out of 26 cars in Knoxville.  Mark then finished 5th in his heat after having a flat tire and going to the back of the pack.  Then in the feature he started 7th and passed Danny Lasoski with one lap to go in lapped traffic to win the feature, his first at Knoxville this season.  Next race Sunday June 15th at Huset's Speedway.

Mark timed 25th out of 30 cars at Huset's on Friday night.  He then finished 7th in his heat so he had to run the B-Main to try to qualify for the A-Main and he did by finishing 5th so then on to the A-Main where he came in 17th.  Next race Saturday June 14th at Knoxville Raceway.

4/26/2008 - Due to poor conditions from rain and projections of more rain Saturday, the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws race has been postponed to Saturday, May 3rd.

Continuing rain and a forecast calling for snow has forced the cancellation of the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event scheduled for Friday, April 25 at Huset’s Speedway. The Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws will return to the Brandon, SD track on Friday, June 13 and again on Thursday, July 3.

 

4/19/2008- Due to excessive rain and wet grounds the opening night race at Knoxville Raceway has been cancelled.

 

Left for Eldora Thursday night after work.  Hit a late season blizzard in South Dakota. 

Strong winds and glare ice finally forced us to pull over between Watertown and Brookings, SD because we couldn't keep moving straight, even at 10 mph.  At Daybreak we took off again and reached Sioux Falls after 14 hours.

We did get to Eldora but it was 1:00 AM.  Right after Fridays race and Saturday rained out.

This Saturday, Knoxville opening night.
